it's really me!

I couldn't believe my eyes as I flipped though the newspaper the other night. Looky looky who we have here!

That masked mess is me! I love file photos.

It was taken a few years ago when I was still working at The Seattle Times.

I happened to be working late that night and a photographer needed a model to wear the mask that I believe was actually made out of newspaper.

AnysomedayIwillbefamous, I thought it was funny to see myself in the paper, even though you probably don't believe me. Then again, it'd be kinda silly for me to lie about it.

I think I actually have a copy of that photo somewhere. I should frame it!

I knew I watched this show for a reason!

Rebecca, on the series Brothers & Sisters, was wearing the Rebecca Taylor dress that I picked during a recent trip to San Francisco.

Seriously, does anyone else watch this show? I guess I kinda like it but it's so formulaic.

Every week it starts with some sort of dilemma. Then everyone fights and resents each other for the next forty minutes. Then everyone starts crying and more feelings are hurt. Then someone apologizes and then they all kiss and make up.

And of course I cry nearly every episode. Sometimes a girl just needs some release!

Hmmm. Maybe I shouldn't have purchased this cardigan.. The very pregnant "Susan" on Desperate Housewives was wearing this Splendid cardigan that I bought at Anthropologie.


But it's so lightweight and comfy. I actually want to buy a couple more in different colors!

I mean, you really can't go wrong with a navy blue and a black one. It's just the right amount of cover for cooler summer nights.

But I won't.. I promise.. Cross my heart!*

I totally have the dress that Brooke (Sophia Bush) is wearing in the season premier of One Tree Hill! I never watch that show but I saw the previews while I was watching Gossip Girl (love the clothes on that show btw!)



It's a 3.1 Phillip Lim dress that I picked up at the Rack for $189 from $695. Ugh.. Forever 21 totally copied the dress. Don't get me wrong, I love me some F21 but sheesh. No wonder they're getting sued for copyright infringement by everyone and their mom!

Did you watch The Hills yesterday? Lauren Conrad was wearing the navy Marc by Marc Jacobs "Marina" sweater that I have. You know.. the one that cups my butt.
