only two feet

I went a little crazy.. Okay. Not just a little. A lot. A lot a lot.

When I arrived at HB's house after my frenzy, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when he opened the door to see my arms full of shopping bags.

It was the Duet Spring Warehouse Sale between two of my favorite neighborhood boutiques - Posh on Main and La Ree. I stood in line in the rain for this sale. And it was soooo worth it.

Do you not love these rosy gold Loeffler Randall Celery flats? $50 (orig. $400)

They'll be perfect for my trip to San Francisco in a couple weeks.

Next I have these delicious Marc by Marc Jacobs. So these aren't necessarily my style but I saw them from the window and knew I had to have them.

I had to have them even more after some Russian lady snatched 'em from behind when I was trying to squeeze through the crowds. I kept my hawk eyes on her while I continued hording shoes to try on. All was nearly lost when I overheard her saying that she really liked them. But minutes later, I saw her without them in her arms.

I quickly turned back to the racks and there they were! YES. MINE. $50 (orig. $400)

Simple and cute - really a staple in any wannabe fashionista's closet. Jewel tone Pedro Garcia flats! I grabbed the dark blue ones. $50 (orig. $325)

And finally my splurge. Chloe.

$150 (orig. $740)

Mango was there too and picked up the same Chloe heels and Marc by Marc Jacob sandals. She also snagged another pair of Marc boots too. Adore! (And a little bit jealous too because they were only $50.)

I'm hoping Veen will do a guest post because she found some gorg steals too! *hint, hint

So thankful we three wear different sizes! No fighting.

La Ree is next... Stay tuned!

swift kick in the boot(y)

It was an accident. You can't blame me. I had a cold that day - few weeks ago. I was sick at home.

And then I got sick of sitting at home. I needed to get some fresh air.

So I went Posh on Main, this fab shoe boutique near my house. And tried on the adorable Loeffler Randal Ivy snap boot.

The illness caused my lapse in wallet judgement. In my defense though, they were 60% off.

But don't you love them as much as I do? The low wedge heel makes them super comfy. And the snaps make it easier for me to get my jeans tucked in.

I mean, they pretty much go with everything. So really, they're an investment. And it seems to me that investing in shoes is by far the safest bet these days, no?

Did I mention they were 60% off?

the old man is snoring...

How cute are these Loeffler Randall rain boots?? I was just think that I needed to invest in a pair after I stepped into a ginormous puddle the other day.

(Yes, it's been rainy in Seattle. Hardy har har. You can stop gloating now.)

I'm obsessed with boots!

smack me

My cousin just bought these Loeffler Randall Matilde boots in patent leather. I hate her. They were originally $695 but she bought them for $200! You hear that Veen? I hate you!

Now I've been obsessing about the camel colored ones. They would look so fabulous with Chloe!

What am I saying? It's April. I should be thinking gladiator sandals and beaches. They're not even on sale!

Where's that tax rebate when I need it?

no no no

For some reason, I really like this Loeffler Randal bag.. Not that I'm even thinking about getting it because I love my Chloe!

I think it's the color.

Maybe when it goes on sale at eluxury.

word on the street

Following in the footsteps of accessory designers Rafe and Hollywould, Target will be featuring shoes and bags by Loeffler Randall. Here's a sneak peak.

I'm not too crazy about them, especially if they're not leather, but maybe it's because the photos are pretty crappy. In any case, I'll see you on Dec. 30, when they debut!

addicted

I don't know why I'm so addicted to Target's GO International-especially with sickly sweet Erin Fetherston designing. I mean, I actually woke up early to go to Target to see heart shaped bags and ruffly dresses! Alas, I have one more confession... I went to TWO Targets just in case there was something I missed. OH THE SHAME! (Just a side note, the Target in Factoria did not have any EF stuff out yet - which means that yes, I started by driving all the way down to the gloriously, magical Target in Renton!)

I tried on that ebony bow jacket. It's actually really cute, but the other stuff, they're a little too cute if you know what I mean. Seriously? Bunnies. No thanks. I ended up buying just the black tee with the faux bow. I didn't really like the bow but the top is surprisingly flattering as it hides my juiciness.

And then what do I do as soon as I get home? I hit up target.com! There were a bunch of items that weren't available at the store and next thing you know I have 4 items in my shopping cart! Honestly, the quality of the garments are questionable but I think I just like the idea of having them in my closet - as if they're going to be worth something in the future. HA! But I was good, I didn't "check out" and those items remain in shopping cart limbo. (By the way, did you know you can get 5 miles/$1 spent at target.com on Northwest Airlines? You just link to target.com through nwa.com and of course you have to be signed up for mileage too!)

I think the Loeffler Randall stuff comes out in January. I'm sorta looking forward to it even though the pix I've seen aren't that appealing. I think it's partly because I was obsessing over a Loeffler bag for a hot one. Then I realized that it was still $700+ and if I actually had that moola, I should probably save for a little longer and buy a real designer bag, like a delicious Balenciaga or a this-is-why-I-live-at-home Chanel. Do you even know where I'm going with this? Just a couple more months and I'll be in Paris. Ooh la la!
