I finally got off my big, giant, wide, lard ass (that's a story I'll share another day) and had my beloved $32 Marni dress tailored.I hope you can tell that it was tad too big for me. The natural waist of the dress was down to my hips and was too boxy for me to fake a drop-waist dress. Haha. And the hem hit me unflatteringly past my knees.
Three inches in and four inches up later, I've fallen madly in love again! I'm just besotted with the colors and the exposed back zipper (sorry, no photo!)And I thought I'd finally debut my new Chloe sunnies! They're a little crazy but I absolutely adore them.

i think the alterations were perfect. sometimes you need to do a little tailoring to make something better. great dress!
