Hunny Bunny and I decided to wait until January before going to on our honeymoon. Now that we're in the midst of planning our fabulous (and maybe even a little romantic) getaway, I'm thinking lingerie!
What do you think I should get? I've got a $100 Shopbop.com instant gift card reserved for one lucky commenter who tells me all about her favorite piece of Kiki de Montparnasse lingerie from Shopbop.com. There's only one winner, so get creative. The best comment wins!
Who was Kiki de Montparnasse?
Kiki de Montparnasse was a sexually-free, wildly-independent beauty symbol from the '20s. She was a cabaret singer, a muse for French artists, an actress, and a painter.
Known simply as "Kiki," her real name was Alice Prin.
What is Kiki de Montparnasse, the label?
Inspired by its sultry namesake, Kiki de Montparnasse (the line of women's lingerie) is all about capturing the same qualities of passion and sophistication. The brand is known for its decadent, lingerie-meets-luxury vibe, and the actual boutiques in New York and Los Angeles carry everything from "intimate accessories," to jewelry and home products. But, even if you can't make it to NY or LA, you can still get in on the action. Just leave a comment below letting me know which piece of Kiki lingerie from Shopbop is your favorite and how you'd wear it. Is it daring or darling? Would it stay in the bedroom or go public? The most creative commenter wins a $100 Shopbop.com gift card towards anything in the store, so start writing.
Contest ends on Saturday, December 12, 2009!

do they make any of these items in men's sizes? er, just wondering...
umm...the muse heart briefs...because i wouldn't have to "manicure" myself down there...the random black splotch hides it ALL!!! LOL. gimme giftcard please.
Jean, if you're reading this, dont tell your daughter! But, I like the Muse Corselette bra cos it looks like it would make my A batteries looks more like Energizer Ds! well, at least maybe...
Angie, you need a NSFW warning on the link!
I love me the boudoir front T bodysuit because what girl doesn't need a bodysuit? OK, my honest-to-God favorite is the Lucretia. Elegant, romantic and perfect for a honeymoon! (Yours, not mine!)
Entered.
The Voyeur Pin Up Bra is absolutely gorgeous! I would love to have the top peek out from a low cut sweater...it is too pretty to hide!
“Quand il me prend dans les bras
Il me parle tout bas
Je vois la vie en rose”
translation:
When he takes me in his arms
and speaks to me softly
I see the world through rose-colored glasses
My inner Kiki would wear the black lacy Maiden Slip for my husband. I’d wear it with Lancome’s Miracle perfume, my black high-heeled sandals, red lipstick, and a sweet smile for the love of my life.
Great giveaway! Thanks for the chance to be creative and win!

I love love love Kiki de Montparnasse - both the label and the beautiful woman. To me they both embody sexiness and strength.
My favorite thing in the Kiki de Montparnasse line would be the Scoop Back dress. To me the woman's back is one of the most underrated parts of her body ... the curve of a woman's back is incredibly sexy, a little bit vulnerable, but oh-so-very strong.
I just had my first baby and although I've lost the weight, my body is softer around the middle for obvious reasons. That said, I would love the Kiki de Montparnasse wrap teddy. It's an understated sexy that appeals to me as a woman and that I know my husband would also love. And mind you, with a new baby in the house, the hubby has been quite neglected lately.
well i'd wear the wrap teddy, and i'd wear it with a tan. which means that i might not be able to wear it for a while. but you know - if i had a bangin' body like that i don't think anyone would care. i might just walk around nekked!
I'm not a lingerie kind of person- the hubby and I are just not into that kind of thing haha :) BUT, if I had to choose, I'd choose the wrap teddy. It's really cute, and if I were to get it, I'd maybe even give up wearing old t-shirts to sleep :) I like how it's not restricting, and has an elastic waistband, and made of silk. It's something I'd be able to wear around the house and feel comfortable in, as opposed to racy little things that I would feel really awkward in. It's also nice that I wouldn't have to work hard to suck in my gut :)
I would feel more comfortable in the wrap teddy but let's be honest, lingerie isn't really about comfort.
So my pick would be the muse heart briefs because it's the rear view is quite cheeky and cute. Seriously, who wouldn't want a heart-shaped bottom?
i heart the boudoir front T bodysuit. because i have delusions of being lady gaga. duh. I wish I had had it for the monster ball. the gays would have looooved the chunky brown girl bringing it. sadly no one was wearing lingerie as outwear at the concert. boo, LA, booooo!
But seriously, I am lucky that after 10 years together, Mr. Diabolina and I don't have any trouble in the, um, deerty departmenent. but us old ladies need to keep things creative so I would wear the body suit for Valentine's Day. And hopefully get in alot of yoga in before then. boo to not being the 18 year old he met, booooo!
i belong in the boudoir bodysuit - seriously. i was designed for it.
