I've always liked the Lanvin Kansas Tote and now it's on sale at Barneys for 40% off! Do I keep the Jimmy Choo or should I get the Lanvin? Jimmy is only slightly cheaper than the Lanvin.. Then again, I'd have to pay tax on the Lanvin. Phooey!


I've been dreaming of a black leather bag for so long and now all of them are on sale! Why oh why are you torturing me? Why can't I just be richbitch and not lookrichbitch? Where's the fun in that?

UPDATE: I bought the Lanvin. I went to Barney's when they opened and bought it! It was the last one! I better return the Jimmy Choo when it arrives. D'oh!

moment of weakness

Now I think I'm going to throw up because I just ordered a Jimmy Choo bag! It's on sale at Bergdork (typo but I kinda like it!) It kinda reminds me of the Ramona bag but smaller and way less expensive. This one is $988 from $1475. Woohoo! It's black and it's under $1K!

This is the Chloe that I was holding around the other day. I'm totally over it now. Hahaha. Hey! I'm a girl! I was born to be fickle. Besides it's a bit too tall and quite pricey.

Does that mean I can't buy another bag in January when I go to Europe? Of course not! Buying a bag there would be considered as buying a souvenir and you can't go on vacation without buying souvenirs, right?

Anyway, Bergdorf and Neimans both started their designer sales today. (If you live where I live, you should order from Bergdorf, if you can.. Neimans charges tax!) Now go spend some money so I don't feel quite so guilty.

Alas, I didn't buy the Chloe bag... I went to Nordstrom right after work to look at the sale bags. I actually found a tote-style bag in the color that I wanted. I carried it around for about twenty minutes - I even called a couple people for moral support. *sigh* I then found a lovely Christian Louboutin clutch on sale. So I carried that around and looked at myself in the mirror and imagined all the glamorous parties and events I could take it to.. And then I put them both down and walked out of the store with my shoulders slumped in defeat as I threw up a little bit in my mouth for being strong.

Dammit. If I find either of those bags at 60% off, I'm buying it. Eff being strong - so what if I won't have any money to put in the bag? I'll be cute and poor.

I just got an email from a salesgal at the Bellevue Nordstrom and she said there will be markdowns on Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Hogan "and many other designer handbags"! Eep! I might need to check it out. Usually their bags start at 33% off, sometimes if you're lucky, they're 40% off. Fingers crossed!

I don't know why I'm so addicted to Target's GO International-especially with sickly sweet Erin Fetherston designing. I mean, I actually woke up early to go to Target to see heart shaped bags and ruffly dresses! Alas, I have one more confession... I went to TWO Targets just in case there was something I missed. OH THE SHAME! (Just a side note, the Target in Factoria did not have any EF stuff out yet - which means that yes, I started by driving all the way down to the gloriously, magical Target in Renton!)

I tried on that ebony bow jacket. It's actually really cute, but the other stuff, they're a little too cute if you know what I mean. Seriously? Bunnies. No thanks. I ended up buying just the black tee with the faux bow. I didn't really like the bow but the top is surprisingly flattering as it hides my juiciness.

And then what do I do as soon as I get home? I hit up target.com! There were a bunch of items that weren't available at the store and next thing you know I have 4 items in my shopping cart! Honestly, the quality of the garments are questionable but I think I just like the idea of having them in my closet - as if they're going to be worth something in the future. HA! But I was good, I didn't "check out" and those items remain in shopping cart limbo. (By the way, did you know you can get 5 miles/$1 spent at target.com on Northwest Airlines? You just link to target.com through nwa.com and of course you have to be signed up for mileage too!)

I think the Loeffler Randall stuff comes out in January. I'm sorta looking forward to it even though the pix I've seen aren't that appealing. I think it's partly because I was obsessing over a Loeffler bag for a hot one. Then I realized that it was still $700+ and if I actually had that moola, I should probably save for a little longer and buy a real designer bag, like a delicious Balenciaga or a this-is-why-I-live-at-home Chanel. Do you even know where I'm going with this? Just a couple more months and I'll be in Paris. Ooh la la!

Have you been to the Barney's sale yet? It was ok. I was hoping this 3.1 Phillip Lim dress would be on sale but it wasn't. The salesgal said it was a progressive sale though and that they'd be adding more stuff and marking things down even more through January. I only work a couple blocks away so I plan to take Barneys-breaks every so often to check on the dress.


I did however buy this Marc by Marc Jacobs cardigan. It's really cute. 100% wool and not itchy at all. I hate itchy. And it has these neat little darts on the bottom of the back side that make the sweater kinda cup my booty.. Or maybe I just have a huge booty. Either way, I find it rather comforting. Hold me...
